SHDesigns is the personal studio of Sarah Hegmann, dedicated to producing high quality illustrations.
Sarah Hegmann is a Medical Illustrator proficient in both 3D and 2D illustration techniques. Devoted to the integration of accuracy, compelling imagery, and education within every project, Sarah produces stunning visuals and animations that illustrate complex ideas in a clear, concise manner. She is working towards a Master of Science in Biomedical Visualization from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and graduated with Honors from Louisiana State University in 2006 with a B.S. in Biological Sciences and a minor in Studio Arts. Having received multiple leadership and service awards, Sarah enjoys collaboration in a group setting as well as independently working a project from conception to completion. This background has enabled her to be uniquely suited to the fusion of art and science. Sarah is committed to constantly learning in the fields of both science and art, pushing the medium of medical illustration.
