Sarah Hegmann, creator of SH Designs, is an experienced biomedical illustrator. She is driven by a passion for communication and excellence, and a love for learning and teaching.

Effective visual communication moves beyond drawing what cannot be seen. It requires working with physicians, scientists, researchers, engineers, marketing specialists, executives, fellow illustrators, and more... both individually and within large production teams. It demands the identification of core concepts, the depiction of complex ideas, and the production of visually accurate and compelling images.
